  •         What if my equipment is not delivered?
We will give you a tracking number to give you immediate information as well as a contact telephone number to help determine the exact delivery time and date. 
  • Is my equipment insured whilst in transit?
You are advised to make your own insurance arrangements. Your equipment is insured for £60 per bag without further charge. we offer additional insurance with your booking and your equipment and Luggage will be covered for a total of £1000 per consignment 
  • Who will receive my equipment in the resort?

Your equipment will normally be signed for  by the concierge/chalet manager and locked into your locker or room. It is up to you to make contact with your hotel/chalet to arrange this, however we do require a contact mobile, and email so we can advise of delivery date and contact prior to delivery. If you do not have details all communication will be with you and you will have to liaise with your chalet/Hotel. 
  • Can we travel as a family if we are not related?

The discount requires only single collection and delivery addresses and is based on the total weight of the equipment and luggage. This is ideal for those sharing a chalet or apartment.
  • What happens if my equipment is not delivered?

Piste of Mind will try to inform you in advance of the problem and request you contact the  Ski Hirers who will equip you with like for like equipment at no charge to you up £25 per day (for a maximum of 4 days unless confirmed otherwise by Piste of Mind) or until your equipment arrives or until the end of your holiday whichever is the sooner.
  • Does it cost extra to ship poles?

No, but poles must be packed in specifically designed ski luggage.
  • Can I ship additional luggage?

Yes, but note there are addition categories and charges for luggage.
  • What is the weight limit?

There is no weight limit. The published prices are those for ski/board bags up to 20kg or 25kg and Luggage up to 30kg for boot bags up to 8kg  You may ship extra weight for an additional charge of £4.00 per kg . If however if luggage or Ski equipment is found to have  excess weights  not included on the  order we will charge an additional £4.00 per kg plus £15 administration charge each way. 
  • I don’t know the full resort address, will my equipment still arrive?

You must tell us the full resort address and post code, contact name (hotel/chalet) contact telephone and email in order to ensure delivery. If you do not have this see above.
  • Can I book specific times and dates to suit me?

Piste of Mind collect on Weekdays between 0800 and 1700 and the latest collection date is 8 working days before your arrival at resort & you must make your booking at least 8 working days before you travel. Delivery to your hotel/chalet will be on a weekday between 0800 and 1700  and the same times apply for the return home. You may request a specific time but this is not guaranteed. It is up to you to contact your hotel/chalet to make delivery and collection arrangements. There are no weekend collections or deliveries. Deliveries (not collections)before  11 am can be arranged but at an additional charge. Please email for a price.

Custom Clearance

Once your luggage arrives at the sorting depot, it will be scanned and placed through their security. If prohibited items are found, we will be notified in most cases. Please track your luggage every day to avoid any further delays. If any prohibited items are found a £50 administration fee will be applied if we are able to remove the item easily. Sometimes luggage is simply returned to the sender address. In this situation, no refund will be given for the original delivery and a new booking will need to be made at the full cost.
